The Team & Role 

This role supports the New Verticals team in London who are responsible for managing our on-demand convenience verticals including Grocery and Retail. You will report directly to the Head of Programme Management for New Vertical, who is based in London. As the New Verticals Manager, you will lead a team of Associates, focusing on a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Content Moderation: identifying and removing prohibited items from the platform to ensure compliance with our policies and standards.
  • Marketing Campaign Execution: Assisting in implementing marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms.
  • Menu Management: Uploading and managing menu items, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the platform.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conducting competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making and maintain our competitive edge.

 

Key Duties

  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, track project progress, identify and resolve obstacles, and manage team capacity to ensure deliverables are met. Regularly update the Head of Programme Management on resource utilisation and project milestones. 
  • Team Briefing and Training: Provide clear instructions and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and training to execute tasks effectively. Communicate team progress and any training needs to the Head of Programme Management to align on development priorities.
  • Line Management: Oversee performance reviews, address disciplinary issues, approve holidays, and manage recruitment processes. Maintain open lines of communication with the Head of Programme Management to discuss team performance, potential challenges  and opportunities for improvement.
