This 10-week summer 2025 internship at Hasbro's Pawtucket, RI office provides valuable experience in brand marketing. Interns will work with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, development, packaging, etc.) on product development and marketing processes, including brand strategy, go-to-market strategies, and asset development. Responsibilities include implementing brand initiatives, leveraging consumer insights, developing sell-in stories for regional marketing partners, and contributing to overall product strategy. The ideal candidate is consumer-centric, possesses strong presentation and data analysis skills, is collaborative, creatively driven, and passionately curious.

About the Internship Program:

Over the course of 10 weeks, a select group of college and university students will join us, gaining valuable work experiences and insights into our most exciting products. Interns engage with Hasbro’s beloved brands, gaining meaningful work-experience through day-to-day training, hands-on projects, executive exposure, individual development planning and mentorship.

 

  • Our program runs between June 9- August 15, 2025.

  • Our internships are paid!

 

Every day, you’ll be working with passionate and creative designers, engineers, and marketers. You'll help to manage the global product development and marketing processes, line planning activities, and brand strategy to drive our high-profile brand. In this exciting role, you will partner with cross-functional teams; including but not limited to regional and global marketing, design and development, packaging, engineering, demand planning, and costing on all phases of product development. You will be the voice of the consumer throughout this process, taking into account research studies and competitive analysis. Successful candidates are proactive, energetic, collaborative, responsive, flexible, creative, analytical, strategic and decisive.

 

What you’ll do and what you’ll learn:

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to implement key brand initiatives, including identifying inventive strategies to foster business growth.

  • Leverage creative thinking and consumer insights to drive product innovations and better meet/exceed consumer demands.

  • Evolve consumer research into clear and concise, insights based, sell in stories to hand off to regional marketing partners.

  • Assist in the development of overall go-to-market product strategy, support asset development in partnership with commercial marketing team by providing item details and collaborating on messaging of unique selling features.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Consumer / customer centric; able to get into the mind of consumers and make recommendations that guide the brand.

  • Presentation skills: can deliver complex information in a compelling way, uses story to persuade audience; captures interest, engages audience, uses supporting points to influence.

  • Data analysis: can make sense of quantitative and qualitative information affecting the brand; proficiency in excel a must-have.

  • Collaborative: able to work with, get information/help from internal partners ie. cross-functional development team, regional marketers, finance, legal.

  • Creatively driven: showcases creative thinking and strategic problem solving.

  • Passionately curious: open to asking questions and learning through this experience.

 

Eligibility to apply:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent major with at least one quarter or semester left after August 2025.

  • Available to work full-time hours in-person at our Pawtucket, RI office location for the entire duration of the internship.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

  • Co-op assignment can be either required or optional for graduation.

  • You are keenly aware of the world around you, and love to learn from it.

  • You thrive on figuring things out and making things happen.

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit, but know how to leverage it within a corporate environment.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $28/hour

  • Pay Range End: $31/hour
