Job Description

This Industry Manager role at Google focuses on the Telco and Finance sectors in South Korea. Responsibilities include building client relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand relationships and drive digital transformation, developing innovative advertising solutions, creating case studies of successful campaigns, and presenting at events. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills (English and Korean), analytical abilities, and experience in consultative sales, business development, or IT. The role requires building trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives and managing multiple projects. Experience in data analysis, creating presentations, and cross-functional collaboration is preferred.

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in sales including data analysis, spreadsheets/analysis and creating C-level presentations.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and internal stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and operate with limited guidance, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to tenaciously propose creative technologies across a landscape of diverse decision makers.
  • Excellent tactical thinking skills, systems thinking, and the ability to align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build term relationships with clients, media, and creative agencies.
  • Collaborate and consult with cross-functional teams in the region with the goal of extending relationships, increasing customers, leading digital transformation efforts, and enhancing their marketing.
  • Work with product experts and cross-functionally within Google to develop and deliver innovative creative advertising solutions for our clients and their agencies.
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to serve as an advocate at focused events and conferences. Take on product releases, internally and externally.
