Job Description

The Industry Manager (English) at Google builds and manages relationships with C-level clients, understanding their business challenges and marketing objectives. This role requires developing long-term strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and achieving growth goals through Google advertising solutions. The manager will present data-driven analyses and recommendations, aligning with customer objectives, and building expertise in Google Advertising products. Responsibilities include presenting solutions to meet client marketing objectives, planning for and achieving growth, and building a deep understanding of the client's business. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship-building skills, analytical abilities, and experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is preferred.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners.
  • 2 years of experience working in the retail industry or product area, and working in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Ability to speak Dutch fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success. 
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analysis and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
