Job Description
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of Tesla's Energy storage and Supercharging network in Kristiansand and other locations in Norway. This role involves troubleshooting, performing root-cause analysis (both remotely and on-site), acting as the primary point of contact for contractors, collaborating with engineering teams, and managing your own technical activities. You'll work with low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, with high-voltage experience being a plus. The position requires strong communication skills, independent work abilities, and a proactive attitude, along with flexibility for travel. Fluency in Norwegian and good English proficiency are essential.

What to ExpectWhat You’ll Bring
As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Norway. What You’ll Do- Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Kristiansand and abroad when needed
- Troubleshoot: and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
- Stakeholder managment: Act as the first point of contact to contractors
- Team work: recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
- Organizational tasks: prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities
- Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
- A passion for renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
- Flexible towards travelling
- Fluency in Norwegian and a good command of English
- An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
