Job Description
As a Field Service Technician (Electrician) for Tesla's Energy and Charging Field Service team in Croatia, you'll be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of renewable energy storage products and Superchargers. Daily tasks include traveling to various sites to perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning activities. You will troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis both remotely and on-site, acting as the primary contact for contractors. Proactive problem-solving and reporting to engineering teams are key aspects of the role. This position requires expertise in electrical engineering, low- and medium-voltage systems (high-voltage experience is a plus), and a passion for renewable energy. Strong communication, independent work habits, and flexibility for travel are essential. Fluency in Croatian and English is mandatory. EU passport or work permit is required.

What to ExpectWhat You’ll Bring
As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Croatia. What You’ll Do- Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Croatia and abroad when needed
- Troubleshoot and perform root - cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
- Stakeholder managment - act as the first point of contact to contractors
- Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
- Organizational tasks, like preparing, organizing, and planning your own technical activities
- Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
- A passion for renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
- Flexible towards travelling
- Fluency in Croatia and a good command of English
- An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
