We are seeking a highly motivated Commission Analyst to oversee the full-cycle commission calculations for our European and Asia-Pacific based teams. This role involves managing commission processes from system configuration to payout execution, providing critical support to our global Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. You will work cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Finance Operations, Accounting, FP&A, and HR to ensure accuracy in commission calculations, provide insightful reporting, and assist in process improvements for compensation plans across regions. Key responsibilities include overseeing monthly and quarterly variable compensation processing, validation, and distribution of commission reports, administering, calculating, and ensuring accurate execution of commission plans, developing and maintaining reports, collaborating with stakeholders to troubleshoot data discrepancies, partnering with leadership for compensation-related questions and analysis, leading the improvement of automated reporting processes, ensuring accurate documentation of system processes, assisting in the development and rollout of commission plans, working closely with Salesforce and commission software systems, and handling deal desk operations and commission-related approval processes.
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related fields
2+ years of experience in sales compensation, financial analysis, or revenue operations
Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce
Strong analytical and mathematical skills

What you’ll be doing:

Develop and maintain ongoing standard and ad-hoc reports, providing deep insights into commission activities, trends, and forecasts.
Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, FP&A, and HR to troubleshoot and audit data discrepancies, ensuring commissions are accurate and align with company policies.
Partner with leadership to support compensation-related questions, offering analysis on quotas, commissions, and overall payout effectiveness.
Lead the improvement of automated reporting processes to enhance data accuracy and efficiency in decision-making.
Ensure accurate documentation of system processes and maintain up-to-date workflows.
Assist in the development and rollout of commission plans, providing impact analysis and modeling during annual compensation reviews.
Work closely with Salesforce and commission software systems, handling deal desk operations and commission-related approval processes.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related business fields.
2+ years of experience in sales compensation, financial analysis, or revenue operations.
Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce
Experience with sales commission software (e.g., Xactly, Everstage, SPIFF, CaptivateIQ, etc.) is a plus.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with experience in financial modeling and data validation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with Finance, Sales, and HR, and handle sensitive commission discussions with clarity and empathy.
High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Flexibility to collaborate across U.S. and UK time zones, ensuring seamless communication with global teams.
Experience working with global or international compensation plans is highly desirable.
