Job Description

The Business Analytics Lead - Money In Money Out will develop and execute a data-driven business strategy aligned with merchant platform objectives. Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing merchant-focused needs, collaborating with the Product team on tech-enabled solutions for merchant money management, conducting market research, building relationships with internal/external partners, and staying updated on market and regulatory trends. The role requires strong analytical thinking, data analytics (SQL is a must), project management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in business/product management and data analytics within the tech or financial services industries.

About the Role

We are looking for a Money In Money Out Business Analytics Lead (Merchant Services) for GoTo Financial who will play an important role in setting the foundational business strategy and executing our team’s go-to-market strategies. You’ll take the wheel in creating the most impactful data-driven business solutions for our merchants and steer the strategy in managing the money coming in and out into and from our platform. Throughout this exciting experience, you’ll build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, from product, analytics, marketing, research, legal, and compliance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in business and product management, data analytics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

Developing and executing a data-driven business strategy that aligns with the overall merchant platform business objectives.
Identify, develop, implement, and refine merchants-focused needs by collaborating with the Product team to provide a tech-enabled solution focusing on merchant money management.
Conduct merchant-focused market research to understand the merchant’s business and money lifecycle, and craft presentations for the overall business strategy.
Build strategic relationships with our internal and external partners throughout the life cycle of our strategic collaboration.
Always be on top of market and regulatory trends and the competitive landscape in the fintech industry.

What you will need

A Bachelor’s / Masters or an equivalent degree with at least have 4-year working experience, experience working in tech or financial service companies is a plus
Strong business sense and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical thinking and data analytics ability
Strong knowledge of SQL is a must
Strong project management skills to manage complex projects; also can manage and prioritize multiple internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, delighted to work with other stakeholders
