The Senior Accounts Executive will efficiently process high-volume invoices, review them against budgets, and handle bank postings and reconciliations.  Collaboration with suppliers to resolve issues is key, as is preparing and processing payment runs while adhering to deadlines.  Responsibilities include regular accounts payable reconciliations, contributing to month-end closing, and identifying process improvement opportunities.  Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and Exflow is beneficial. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

In Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Executive person to join our accounting team, based in Malta. This is a key role to support and strengthen the accounting function and offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the success of our organisation.

Your day to day:

<li> Efficiently process a high volume of invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.</li>
<li> Review invoices against budget and communicate accordingly.</li>
<li> Bank Postings and reconciliations.</li>
<li> Work collaboratively with various suppliers to address and resolve any issues.</li>
<li> Prepare and process payment runs, adhering to payment terms and schedules and monitor payment deadlines. </li>
<li> Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.</li>
<li> Contribute to the month-end closing process by providing accurate and timely information related to accounts payable.</li>
<li> Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices in the accounts payable function.</li>

What we are looking for:

<li> A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payables.</li>
<li> Proficiency in using software such as Microsoft Business Central and invoice approval system such as Exflow, would be considered an asset.</li>
<li> Have advanced working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications. </li>
<li> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li> Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.</li>
