Google Customer Solutions (GCS) seeks an Account Strategist for their Mid-Market Sales team in Spain. The role requires fluent Spanish and at least 2 years' experience in advertising, sales, business development, online media, or marketing. Responsibilities include achieving ambitious quarterly growth goals, managing a portfolio of medium-to-large businesses, proactively pitching and consulting with customers on annual digital marketing strategies, driving customer growth through exceptional sales experiences, and managing stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, understand digital marketing strategies, and be proficient in sales techniques. They will work with businesses to develop advertising strategies that reach thousands of users.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience in advertising or related field
  • Fluent Spanish

  • Proactive customer consultation and pitching
  • Experience managing client portfolios
Good to have:
  • Experience with performance marketing

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged promotions.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and consistently achieve quotas to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business growth and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Manage stakeholders, build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
