Account Manager, Enterprise Tech Large Customer Sales (German)

Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on large enterprise tech clients in Germany. Responsibilities include building and managing client relationships, understanding their business challenges and marketing objectives, and developing data-driven strategies using Google advertising products. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, achieving business growth targets, and presenting solutions to meet client marketing objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills (fluent in German), analytical abilities, and experience in advertising, consultative sales, or a related field. A deep understanding of online media and the ability to develop forward-thinking recommendations are crucial. This role requires proactive collaboration and the ability to quantify impact opportunities.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent German communication skills
  • Client relationship management
  • Data-driven analysis & recommendations
  • Achieve business growth targets
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in a matrixed organization
  • Digital marketing campaign management

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently to support German clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth targets, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
