Account Director

Ziff Davis Shopping helps millions of shoppers discover and save, delivering exceptional consumer and merchant-advertiser experiences across a portfolio of leading mobile and ecommerce brands. Our domestic brands include RetailMeNot, Offers.com, Blackfriday.com, TechBargains and more. We also run the leading Cash Back, Reward and Coupon codes brand in the UK (Voucher Codes).
About The Role:
We are currently looking for an Account Director to add to our dynamic team. This is an excellent selling opportunity for you to help drive new account growth and collaborate with brands across a wide swath of merchant verticals. A successful Account Director will build relationships cross functionally, will live the RetailMeNot core values, and have a real passion for client success!
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Build relationships with Ziff Davis Shopping's customers within an assigned book of business
  • Understand & effectively communicate the value of our products & services
  • Summarize and present benefits of strategic partnership & marketing initiatives to merchants
  • Achieve quarterly revenue and business line targets
  • Prospect for new business partnerships
  • Manage the complete sales cycle process for all accounts within your assigned book of business
  • Forecast & track activity within Salesforce, Tableau & other CRM tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Ziff Davis to provide product & competitive insights as well as drive performance for your assigned book of business
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required in online media sales, account management and business development
  • Experience in owning a quota for a book of business
  • Proven track record of success in hitting sales targets & goals
  • Experience in the retail/ merchant B2C e-commerce sectors or digital advertising sectors
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in online advertising/ e-commerce/ offline commerce
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Able to develop and execute business development plans that will achieve revenue targets
  • Exceptional ability to develop and deliver client ready presentations
  • Self-motivated and enjoy working in a dynamic and results driven environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to use market knowledge and partner feedback to improve product and service offerings
  • Polished, engaging and persuasive communicator that is comfortable presenting at the VP level & higher
  • Structured problem solver with excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment & lead attainment of quarterly goals and objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, liberal arts or communications from a four-year college or university
