As a Tech Lead - Websites at Xsolla, you will lead the redesign and implementation of critical website features (xsolla.com and 80.lv), improving performance and user experience. Responsibilities include overseeing daily team operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing CI/CD pipelines, mentoring team members, and ensuring adherence to coding standards. The initial three months involve a comprehensive review of the website architecture, creating an optimization plan. The first year's goal is a 20% improvement in website performance and scalability. Strong technical expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, NextJS, PHP, and CI/CD is crucial.

We are looking for a Tech Lead who is innovative, results-driven, and a collaborative leader to join our Engineering team responsible for the support and development of Xsolla's websites (xsolla.com and 80.lv). The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to lead an engineering team, drive technical excellence, and deliver a seamless, high-performing website experience.
Strong technical expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, NextJS, Git, PHP, PHP frameworks, and CI/CD tools is essential, along with experience in leading teams, managing complex projects, and delivering scalable solutions. The ability to mentor team members, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects effectively will be key to your success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- First 3 months: Conduct a comprehensive review of the current Xsolla website architecture, identifying areas for optimization and delivering a prioritized action plan.
- First year: Lead the successful redesign and implementation of critical features to improve the website’s performance, scalability, and user experience by at least 20%.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and product, to align the website's functionality with business goals.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Mentor and support team members in technical growth and career development.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams or projects, with a focus on website development.
- Expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, and NextJS for front-end development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks for backend development.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools for automating development and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
