As a Senior Vehicle Development Artist at Lighthouse Games, you'll assume a pivotal role in our project development and production, developing new features and processes and defining our vehicle creation pipelines. We are searching for individuals who not only display adeptness as team players experienced in vehicle content pipelines but also demonstrate an exceptional mastery level in vehicle modeling, setting new benchmarks in visual excellence.

Your integral role involves creating unparalleled vehicle content through advanced 3D modeling techniques, employing precision in material and texturing methods. Your collaborative engagement across diverse departments will be instrumental in actualizing and enhancing the studio's artistic vision, enriching the immersive gaming experience.

Key Duties Include

  • Research and development of features and processes
  • Creating and delivering high-fidelity and game performant graphical vehicle content
  • Ensure production of vehicle assets conform to the defined technical and artistic requirements
  • Self-managing personal deliverables, ensuring they meet the defined objectives, quality bar, and schedule
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Vehicle Artists, fostering their professional growth and skill development while maintaining a cohesive and high-performing team

Requirements

Knowledge of:

  • Iterating new features and processes as part or whole of a vehicle development pipeline
  • Physically Based Rendering techniques
  • Precision 3D modelling tools and approaches
  • Modern texture authoring tools
  • Mechanical composition of vehicles
  • An interest in automotive design principals
  • A high standard of verbal and written communication skills
