Job Description

Logitech is seeking a Senior SDT Manager to lead their global supplier development team. Responsibilities include qualifying new suppliers, reviewing and approving quality contracts, managing existing supplier quality, resolving component quality issues, and driving continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in tooling fabrication, plastic molding, painting, printing, and sub-assembly processes. Strong New Product Introduction (NPI) management skills are required, as well as familiarity with supplier management processes and quality methodologies (QFD, DFMEA, PFMEA, CARs, Continuous Improvement, SPC, Six Sigma, Product Life Evaluation, Quality Audits). The role necessitates excellent leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and fluent English communication skills. This position involves significant travel within Mainland China and internationally. The successful candidate will manage a team of 10+ members.

Must have:

Supplier qualification & contract review
ME supplier quality management
Component quality issue resolution
CIP project driving for suppliers
Experience in tooling, molding, painting etc.
NPI management expertise
Strong leadership & execution

Willingness to travel extensively

Sr. SDT Manager (Supplier Quality)

Role & Responsibility:

The Leader of the global supplier development team to:
1. qualify the new suppliers,

2. review and approve the quality contract for suppliers,
3. manage existing ME supplier quality,

4. solve the component quality issues,
5. drive CIP project for the suppliers to do quality and productivity improvement.

Job Qualification:

1. Having rich experience in tooling fabrication, plastic molding, painting, printing and sub-assembly process;

2. Good at New Product Introduction (NPI) management;

3. Familiar with supplier management process such as qualification, development and improvement process;

4. Good leadership and execution ability;

5. Fluent in English oral speaking and presentation skill;

6. Good records of cross-functional collaboration in problem solving and risk assessment

7. Familiar with quality methodologies (QFD, DFMEA, PFMEA, CAR’s, Continuous Improvement, SPC, Six Sigma, Product Life Evaluation, Quality Audits);

8. Willing to travel across Mainland China or overseas;

9. Has 5-8 years management position experience, need to manage a 10+ members organization.
