As a Vehicle Technical Artist at CIG, you'll be part of a team creating high-fidelity vehicle assets for Star Citizen and Squadron 42.  Responsibilities include hands-on implementation, performance optimization, rigging, skinning, asset markup, and supporting the vehicle content team. You will work closely with art and programming teams, develop and improve pipelines using tools like 3DS Max, MaxScript, and Python, and investigate new techniques. The role involves bringing ships to life through animation and physics tuning, and ensuring assets are technically sound for use in the games.  CIG has a reputation for creating complex, characterful vehicles that are more like mini-game levels, and you'll be contributing to their already impressive library of nearly one hundred ships.

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Understand the entire system end to end and involve in every step of software development process like designing, development, and testing</li><li>Define and implement test strategy for complex end-to-end systems that comprise the NCR solutions</li><li>Define and build test scenarios and acceptance tests</li><li>Define and develop test automation strategy and framework for testing multiple platforms like Web, Mobile and, Desktop by incorporating industry best practices</li><li>Understand the API contracts between cross-products, test and troubleshoot any issues with API definitions</li><li>Implement Behavior Driven Development processes </li><li>Create and manage defects </li><li>Apply engineering principals, data analysis best practice and process knowledge to conduct root cause analysis of functional and non-functional defects</li><li>Provide a detailed root cause analysis for a defect with log evidences to fix the problem and apply the fix</li><li>Analyze the issues using software or application monitoring tools </li><li>Work with DevOps to resolve any system level issues</li><li>Collaborate with solution engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, network engineers and QA engineers.</li><li>Work within the SAFe methodology to implement and / or refine solution integration and test best practices </li></ul>
Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 to 6 years of experience / knowledge in testing in an enterprise environment</li><li>Strong experience with Retail industry and business</li><li>Solid hands-on experience with Object-oriented programming (C#, .Net/Java/JavaScript)</li><li>Extensive experience in test automation of complex enterprise applications using Selenium/CodedUI/Cypress etc.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in developing BDD feature files, using Specflow assists.</li><li>Hands-on experience on API and Database testing and automation</li><li>Experience of working "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology</li><li>Good understanding of software architecture with the ability to provide recommendations and strategy for non-functional testing initiatives</li><li>A real problem solver, ability to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them without external direction </li></ul>
