The Senior HR Manager is a key member of Coupa KK’s Team based in Japan. The position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function within the Coupa KK organization, working closely with several global teams such as HR, Legal and KK's G&A team. This includes recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Senior HR Manager will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

What you will do:

    • Maintain, develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with local labor laws and regulations
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers with Global Talent Acquisition Team
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
    • Implement employee training and development programs with Global L&D team to enhance employee skills and knowledge
    • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances with Global HRBP team and Legal Team
    • Administer performance management processes, including performance appraisals and goal setting with HRBP and KK G&A lead
    • Conduct compensation and benefits analysis to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages for employees with Global Benefit Team
    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR management, and make recommendations for improvement
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, and maintain accurate HR records and documentation
    • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives with HRBP and KK G&A lead
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on HR-related matters with HRBP and KK G&A lead

What you will bring to Coupa:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a solid understanding of HR functions and employment laws
    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required
    • Fluent in spoken and written English / Japanese
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the global IT company is preferred
