The On-Site Lead manages venue IT support and services for a premiere FIFA World Cup 26™ event. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth IT operations, collaborating with stakeholders, resolving IT incidents, installing and configuring hardware/software, supervising IT staff, and ensuring compliance. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, along with experience in large-scale event IT projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various IT technologies and platforms and a proven track record of delivering successful IT solutions for major events.

The Role and What You’ll Do:

The Site Lead is responsible for managing venue IT support and services for a premiere event, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications within the venue. The Site Lead will report to the On-Site IT Manager and work closely with the event stakeholders, vendors, and partners to deliver IT solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the event sponsors, participants, and spectators. The Site Lead will also supervise and coordinate the IT staff and contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with the IT policies, standards, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with the On-Site IT Manager and the event stakeholders to understand and fulfill their IT requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Resolve IT service incidents & requests in a timely manner
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Compile and prioritize IT demand and deliver technology solutions supporting event operations and business strategy.
  • Supervise successful execution of premiere events, ensuring high availability and quality of support, thoughtful end user change management and adherence to security standards.
  • Harness the enterprise IT organization, infrastructure, and technology capabilities to achieve business outcomes.
  • Uphold appropriate compliance, security, and controls, aligning with company policy and governance.
  • Report to the On-Site IT Manager on the IT status, performance, and issues of the premiere event.

You Have These:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in delivering IT projects and operations for large-scale events on-time and on-budget, preferably in the sports industry.
  • In depth knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, AD, and other desktop related technologies.
  • Ability to problem solve and make design decisions based on analytics.
  • Proven track record of delivering IT solutions that meet the needs and expectations of event stakeholders, sponsors, participants, and spectators.
  • Certification in Net+, Sec+, or other relevant certifications is a plus.
  • Experience working in a team that is part of a larger global IT organization with peers located across multiple time-zones who you need to collaborate with daily.
  • Working with outsourced service providers to delivery end user support services smoothly and seamlessly.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during the event period. 
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners to deliver IT solutions that meet the needs and expectations of large-scale events and operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Willingness to learn, observe and take direction
  • Strategic thinking and strong follow through and project management skills
  • Proactive approach – take initiative to do what’s needed for the business.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams with a customer-focused mindset

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.  Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.


Hiring Range Minimum:

$67,500 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$90,000 annually
