Senior Data Engineer

What you'll be doing:

As part of our dynamic Data Engineering team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Data Science team to work on diverse and large-scale data sets to enhance existing products and innovate new solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing robust code and pipelines using a DevOps approach (Git, Agile, automated testing, and CI/CD).
• Sharing insights and contributing to the strategic direction by ideating and defining products across various business sectors.
• Driving technical solutions that align with our mission to deliver value to clients incrementally.

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a senior-level professional with a strong background in Snowflake or Databricks (Matillion experience is a bonus). The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent Python skills.
• Strong data modeling and SQL expertise, with a proven ability to develop complex models and queries.
• Experience in creating and maintaining data pipelines using Spark.
• Expertise in complex ETL and ELT processes.
• Experience in query and data source performance optimization, including resource allocation and management.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure.
• A strong background in the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices (automated testing, version control, CI/CD).
• Experience working with large-scale data.
• The ability to thrive in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• A passion for iterating on technical solutions to continually add value for our customers.
