Job Description

The Sales Advisor role at Tesla in Lincoln involves guiding customers through the Tesla vehicle ownership journey. Responsibilities include becoming a product expert, understanding customer needs, providing personalized solutions, educating customers on Tesla's benefits (including charging, maintenance, and environmental impact), and managing the sales process (financing, trade-ins, delivery). The role necessitates excellent communication, the ability to explain complex topics simply, working in a fast-paced environment, and achieving sales targets. The FAST program provides training and tools for success. The advisor will be part of a team focusing on sales and delivery targets and collaboration, providing exceptional customer experiences and building long-term relationships. Daily outbound lead generation and pipeline management are also key responsibilities.

Whether you are an experienced salesperson or looking to break into the industry - The FAST program is designed to provide you with all the tools you need and accelerate you on your sales journey. Tesla does things differently - We will invest in you! This unique program is built to set you up for success, as our expert sales trainers will provide you with all the Tesla knowledge you need in combination with in-store sales experience.

As a Sales Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping customers on their journey to ownership of a Tesla vehicle. You will be a product expert who is passionate about Tesla's mission and can communicate the benefits of owning a Tesla to potential customers. You will work with customers to understand their needs, educate them about Tesla vehicles, and guide them through the sales process to ensure they make an informed decision.

You have relentless determination to succeed, and you are driven by the mission of Tesla to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. You are part of a larger sales and delivery team who works closely and flexibly on all tasks. You are expected to cooperate frequently and display a one-team mentality to achieve sales and delivery targets.

What You’ll Do
  • Be a product expert on Tesla vehicles and technologies, and stay up to date with the latest developments and trends 
  • Understand the needs and preferences of each customer, and provide a personalized solution that meets their requirements 
  • Provide detailed and transparent information about the benefits of owning a Tesla vehicle, including charging and maintenance costs, environmental impact, and driving experience 
  • Guide customers through the sales process, including financing options, trade-ins, and delivery timelines 
  • Be a trusted advisor to customers, answering any questions they may have and addressing any concerns or objections they may raise 
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that exceeds their expectations, building a long-term relationship with them 
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics 
  • Daily outbound lead generation, capturing opportunities, and managing sales pipeline
What You’ll Bring

  • Driving License valid in the UK which has been held for over 2 years
