Specifically, we are looking for a talented Lead Artist with experience in overseeing projects focused on photorealistic environments, hard surface modeling, or weapon design.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with exceptional skills, capable of setting high standards for quality and style. They should have a comprehensive understanding of various pipelines and extensive experience in game development.
Superpowers
you have are
- 1+ years of experience as a Lead or Project Lead Artist;
- Strategic thinking, desire to develop the team / Sub-division;
- Deep industry knowledge;
- Constant self-development and the desire to develop others;
- High-quality standards and artistic taste;
- The ability to objectively evaluate the work of others and give constructive feedback;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively;
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset to work in dynamic, creative environments;
- Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration and documentation.
As a part of Room 8
studio, you will
- Lead projects for console and PC in the realm of 3D realistic environments;
- Complete assigned tasks within the estimated time frame and deadlines, adhering to the reference and technical specifications provided by the client;
- Collaborate with the Art Producer and other specialists involved in project realization;
- Participate in estimation calculations of new projects and tests;
- Ensure the quality of the artists’ work within the team;
- Assist in resolving artistic and technical issues within the team;
- Organize the team’s work according to project requirements and specific tasks;
- Create technical specifications and guidelines;
- Model photorealistic environments and hard surface assets for games based on provided concepts and references, following guidelines;
- Create clean, low-resolution game topology, optimal UV’s mapping, and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
- Texture photoreal environment and hard surface assets;
- Work with game engines;
- Final assembly in accordance with the requirements (scenes, files, naming, etc.);
- Research new programs and techniques that are emerging on the market.
