DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Forecasts and recommends resources required for global initiatives between Americas consumer experience teams and Nintendo Company Ltd. (NCL) development teams or business units.
  • Utilizes problem-solving methodology to identify root causes and develop appropriate solutions for improving and standardizing end-to-end process effectiveness.
  • Facilitates department fact finding and research projects to reinforce continuous improvement strategies and standardization initiatives.
  • May require a high level of visibility and interaction with middle and upper level management.
  • Provides assessments of team and project performance and reports back to stakeholders and project sponsor/owner.
  • May prepare and translate collaboration materials (documents, presentations, other communications) in English and Japanese.
  • May interpret real-time communication during meetings in English and Japanese.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience leading projects.
  • Understanding of project management methodology, including ability to identify and resolve issues, create and track milestones and manage risk.
  • Demonstrated success in innovation and driving business initiatives with measurable results in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio and Project applications.
  • Japanese proficiency test Level I or native fluency required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in translation management applications (incl. MemoQ) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Japanese business practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management/Business or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • Bilingual jobs require excellent business communication skills in English and Japanese.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
 
 
This position includes a base salary range of $77,500 - $124,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Please see our  for more benefits information.
