Presales Data Science Architect – AWS Cloud

This is a solutions pre-sales role that focuses on consultative engagements with various customer stakeholders, including business owners, data engineering teams, and management. Successful candidates will be adept at evangelizing Rackspace Data Services' value proposition – across Professional Services and Managed Services; aligning it to each unique set of customer challenges and articulating the business benefits. A key aspect of the role is to engage with customers early in their transformation journey to establish Rackspace credentials as a partner that can help assess, plan and execute the required data transformation or modernization. Key responsibilities include selling and positioning implementation and advisory services, building trusted advisor relationships with clients, developing high-level designs and architectures, creating proposals and SOWs, and working with sales teams to develop account prioritization and support strategies. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, and deep learning libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch, as well as strong knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP/NLU. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a data scientist and have applied industry experience in NLP/NLU, Forecasting, and Anomaly detection solution development.
