As Operations Coordinator, Expansion at Tesla, you'll support the expansion of the Tesla network across seven Central European markets. This involves collaborating with various teams (Sales, Service, Real Estate, Infrastructure Development) to execute infrastructure expansion strategies, open new Tesla locations, and manage projects. Responsibilities include supporting location lead generation, evaluating business cases for new centers, coordinating project progress, performing operational tasks for successful openings, supporting Google analytics, and handling ad-hoc requests from leadership. The role requires strong project management, data analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills. You'll contribute to improving expansion processes and driving operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment.
Must have:

What to Expect

As Operations Coordinator, Expansion you will work closely with the Central Europe Leadership team to support the expansion of the Tesla network across seven markets in Central Europe (DE, AT, CH, PL, CZ, RO, HU). As we grow in different markets, it is crucial that we rapidly expand our physical footprint and services to our customers. You will be contributing towards the execution of the infrastructure expansion strategy and the successful opening of our new Tesla locations.

You will work directly with Sales, Service & Delivery Leads as well as the Real Estate, Infrastructure Development and the EMEA Business Planning Team to execute our market growth strategies. As part of the Central Europe Expansion team, you will support location lead generation and evaluation, support local search campaigns, prepare, and review business cases for new Tesla Centers, Delivery and Used Car Centers, and other projects. You will also do project coordination related tasks to manage project progress between various stakeholders and perform a series of operational tasks that are required for successful openings. Moreover, you will support broader initiatives such as Google analytics and ad-hoc requests for the Leadership team.

This role gives you the unique opportunity to combine data-driven strategic insights with strong operational focus. You will work closely with the Central Europe Leadership team and will further develop your skills in project management, data monitoring, problem-solving and stakeholder management.

What You’ll Do
  • You will support local search campaigns to find our next Tesla locations in key markets and cities.
  • You will communicate effectively with the senior management team to establish and discuss business cases for each expansion project
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and local Sales and Service Managers to structure and accelerate new location openings
  • You will own the Central Europe infrastructure planning and monitoring tools, regularly coordinate with other teams, update reports and presentations
  • You will perform a series of operational tasks with internal and external stakeholders that ensure successful opening of new locations
  • You will coordinate ad-hoc requests for our Leadership team and support broader initiatives that help us improve and solve infrastructure needs
  • You will propose how we can improve our expansion and infrastructure development processes, and drive efficiency in our operations
What You’ll Bring
  • You have finished Bachelor or Master studies and first experience in business, engineering, or economics
  • You are passionate about Tesla’s mission and topics involving strategy, business development and project management with an interest in operations and infrastructure
  • You want to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and have exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • You are a hardworking, true team player with a “can do” attitude, but open to feedback and a strong desire to learn
  • You are fluent in English (German is a strong plus)
  • You are willing to travel regularly within the DACH region and Eastern Europe
