This internship at Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg offers a Project Engineer Assistant role focused on developing an application for the Plastic Shop Manufacturing team. The application will generate accurate budget estimations for vehicle manufacturing projects, considering various factors. The intern will collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers to define requirements, design, develop (using a programming language of their choice), integrate, test, and validate the application. This involves working within existing systems and tools, and utilizing agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

What You’ll Do- Develop an application using a programming language of your choice to support the Manufacturing team

- Integrate the application with existing systems and tools
- Test and validate the application
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C++)
- Experience with JIRA and/or other project management tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
