Job Description

This Computer Operator I position at IGT in Charleston, WV requires 24/7 operational support for product development, systems integration, lottery operations, and customers. Responsibilities include monitoring IGT's enterprise infrastructure, daily system and network operations, verifying computer reports, assisting in recovery activities, following escalation procedures, and providing helpdesk support to retailers. Experience with Linux commands and Office 365 (including Teams) is necessary. The role involves 12-hour shifts, including holidays, weekends, and nights.

Responsibilities

24x365 operational support of our product development and systems integration teams, our lottery operations and customers, monitor IGT's enterprise infrastructure and escalate issues as required.

 

  • Monitor daily operation of IGT computer systems and network.
  • Carry out all tasks on the daily checklist.
  • Assist in verifying the validity and clarity of computer reports and other output before releasing it from Computer Operations.
  • Assist in the recovery activities necessary to restore normal operations.
  • Follow the correct escalation procedures within Incident Management.
  • Ability to navigate in Linux and perform basic commands
  • Experience with Office 365 including Teams
  • Take Helpdesk calls from retailers to troubleshoot issues and document accordingly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, holidays, weekends, and night shifts.
  • Ability to follow checklists and procedures.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $29,120 - $52,458. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
