Job Description

The Onboarding team plays a critical role in Google’s Acquisitions organization and is responsible for a substantial portion of Google’s advertising business growth across the globe. This role involves managing the onboarding of new advertising customers, engaging with them to utilize Google solutions, developing digital advertising solutions meeting their growth goals, and managing relationships with acquisitions and business teams. Responsibilities include delivering against customer goals, ensuring seamless customer handovers, implementing creative improvements to customer relationships, tailoring performance-enhancing suggestions, promoting other Google products, communicating with customers, and providing advice to maximize advertising ROI. The position requires working closely with colleagues in New Business Sales (NBS) and Google Customer Solutions (GCS).
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years media account management or advertising experience
  • Digital advertising product experience (Google Ads, Shopping, Analytics)
  • Customer-facing role experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in media account management or advertising industry.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role working with digital advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Shopping, Google Analytics, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing and customizing experience for a customer base.
  • Ability to take initiative, work with minimal guidance, lead, motivate, and work well with others.
  • Ability to reaching out to customers, and assist them in adding value to their business.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you will be managing the onboarding of new advertising customers for Google throughout the region. You will be engaging with customers and supporting them in learning how to utilize Google solutions for their business, while also developing digital advertising solutions that meet their growth goals and business objectives. You will manage the relationship with our acquisitions and business team for customers. You will work with an engaged team and grow the business, while also understanding our advertiser's needs and delivering measurable solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $81,000-$119,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Deliver against assigned customer goals, while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Work closely with colleagues in New Business Sales (NBS) and Google Customer Solutions (GCS) business to deliver seamless customer handovers and to ensure customer experience.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Communicate with customers through phone and email.
  • Provide advice and help our advertisers get the best return on their advertising investment by working closely with them in a consultative role.
