Middle Android Engineer

We are looking for an active and enthusiastic team player who is ready to join our team as a Middle Android Engineer.

About the Client:

The company owns more than 400 filling stations, and also operates the country’s largest network of roadhouses, including 35 restaurants. Our client sells goods through the shops at filling stations, sells petroleum products wholesale and retail, and provides services for fuel quality testing, petroleum products storage, and transportation. 10 tank farms and 16 stationary and mobile quality control laboratories for petroleum products are operated by our client

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience developing Android application is required
• Strong knowledge in Java, Kotlin
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and Bug tracking (e.g. JIRA)
• Solid understanding of OOP
• Experience working knowledge of SOAP and RESTful integrations
• Strong analytic & problem-solving skills
• Extreme ownership over all projects and consistent ability to meet deadlines
• Communicates well one on one and in groups, ability to clearly present ideas to stakeholders, generates sensible, realistic, practical solutions to problems
• M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
• English level - intermediate, Ukrainian - advanced or higher

Responsibilities:

• Develop mobile apps, adopting the best industry practices
• Conduct regular code reviews to improve code quality, design, and tests
• Attend regular meetings to discuss solutions to technical and process challenges
• Complete application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
• Explore new opportunities to add value to the product and process and present them to the team
