Job Description

Join Testronic's Localization Quality Assurance department as an LQA Game Tester with French. Responsibilities include finding and correcting translation errors, checking game tone, style, audio, text, and cultural correctness, creating reports in Excel and Jira, and suggesting quality improvements. You will work remotely on flexible projects. The role requires a C2 level in French, C1 level in English, and excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills. Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus.

Must have:

French C2/Native

Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation
Good MS Office skills (Excel)
Clear and precise communication
Teamwork & ability to work under pressure

Game testing experience
Translation/linguistic game testing experience
Familiarity with gaming platforms (PS, Xbox, Switch, iOS)

Description

Join our Localization Quality Assurance department and be responsible for:

Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
Submitting quality improving suggestions for the errors you find.

Requirements

French C2 level or native.
English C1 level to ensure internal communication and reporting.
Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation of your language.
Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
Great communication skills allowing to express yourself precise and clearly.
Ability to work in a team and under pressure of time.

You can score extra points for:

Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
Familiarity of platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), Apple (iOS).
