Implement organization strategies through the effective direction and management of resources, while being accountable for the business strategies, functional and operational areas, processes and programs. Responsible and accountable for managing and developing a team of people, across several geographies setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis:
- Participates in or leads the analytical, experimental, investigative, and testing efforts in support of new product development.
- Owns the Nasdaq Data Link web user experience product catalog, working cross functionally on presentation, delivery, distribution, and features.
- Collaborates in Data Product commercialization efforts, including but not limited to: product development, research and design, business case, pricing, marketing, sales and distribution.
- Works closely with customer base to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions.
- Performs analyses and prepares forecasts and recommendations in the areas of product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends.
- Research market conditions to determine potential sales of a product. Writes profitability analysis.
We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused, Product Leader to own and drive our product vision and roadmap. You will be responsible for championing the development of a newly launched cloud-based enterprise SaaS product of medium-to-high complexity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Continue to establish product-market-fit for our new data management product
  • Define the product vision and roadmap for Nasdaq Data Link
  • Create buy-in for the product strategy with various stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Gain a deep understanding of the market, our customers and our competitors to help shape and execute the product roadmap
  • Lead the planning, development, and launch of all product initiatives
  • Lead and manage a team of product managers and ensure team is effective at prioritizing actionable requirements and items for project execution
  • Collaborate with sales teams and work with clients to understand pain points to develop product requirements and then work with the development team to execute the project from inception to launch
  • Responsible for elevating product management best practices within the team and fostering strong day-to-day working relationships between product and development teams

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Broad understanding of the Market Data business and related businesses (Proprietary, Index, Fund, Alt, and Partner data)
  • 5+ years of proven work experience in product management, building and shipping products that customers love. You have owned a complete product or platform and are comfortable leading large cross-functional projects with significant technical complexity and client interaction.
  • Strong experience with agile product development at an enterprise software firm within the financial services industry.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements.
  • Collaborative and empathetic leader who is comfortable working with a diverse group of stakeholders, making sure every voice is heard
  • Successful influencer with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across different parts of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills will ability to convey complex ideas succinctly and clearly
  • Strong track record of executing client projects on time and within budget.
  • Engineering or software development experience in the Financial Services industry a plus.

The base pay range for this role is $116,200 - $193,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
