  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of fraud analysts, helping them to grow professionally and ensuring they apply their skills effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Use data to analyze fraud trends and make recommendations to limit our risk.
  • Reporting: Track fraud metrics and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting key issues and suggesting solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work with Customer Service and other departments to resolve escalated player complaints and operational issues.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. A certification in fraud prevention or risk management would be a plus.
  • Experience: You should have at least 5 years of experience in fraud prevention and investigation, with 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in online wagering, e-commerce, financial services, or other high-risk industries is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: You should have a solid understanding of fraud patterns and risk assessment methodologies and know how to apply them to the online wagering industry.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with fraud detection tools and technologies is important. SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of iGaming regulations, the Bank Secrecy Act, and AML requirements in the US and Canada is beneficial
  • Analytical Ability: You need strong analytical skills to interpret data, spot trends, and recommend fraud mitigation strategies.
  • Communication: Strong written communication skills are required, especially for drafting and maintaining standard operating procedures.
