The Responsible Gaming Analyst at RSI will develop, implement, and oversee responsible gaming procedures, strategies, and the overall RG program across operational and compliance teams. This role requires close collaboration with various departments (Compliance, Operations, Customer Service, Risk & Fraud, VIP Management) to ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies. Responsibilities include testing procedures, drafting policies, monitoring player interactions, conducting performance reviews, and reporting on compliance. The ideal candidate possesses experience in online gaming, customer service, and compliance, with strong communication skills and the ability to interpret regulatory requirements.

Rush Street Interactive’s Responsible Gaming Analyst will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and implementing the Responsible Gaming procedures, processes, strategies, and overall RG program within our Operational and compliance teams. This position will act as the liaison between the Compliance and Operations teams to understand regulatory requirements and company guidelines as they relate to responsible gaming and will ensure each team has the necessary tools to be compliant with these requirements. Oversee and ensure the responsible gaming rules and regulations are complied within each jurisdiction that we operate in and own all internal procedures, so they appropriately reflect these regulations. Promote awareness of responsible gaming and liaise where necessary to address and resolve any complaints or shortfalls. Work closely with the Customer Service, VIP, and Risk & Fraud teams to ensure necessary review and audit of player accounts. To be successful in this role, the Responsible Gaming Analyst will take pride in an accurate, transparent, and concise responsible gaming program that creates a responsible and safe experience for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing, structured, and rigorous testing of key procedures and controls within all business units as they relate to Responsible Gaming
  • Working with department heads, develop, draft, and implement responsible gaming policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with Support Operations, Compliance, Risk & Fraud, and VIP Management to ensure all departments are adhering to all Responsible Gaming policies and procedures.
  • Own and maintain the online Responsible Gaming procedures via Guru, Confluence, and all other necessary platforms.
  • Monitor chats, emails, and inbound calls from Player Support Agents to ensure compliance with Responsible Gaming procedures and policies.
  • Work on Responsible Gaming performance plans for each department; participate in performance activities and staff training.
  • Contribute to reporting to first line management and other interested parties.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements to identify opportunities and manage a tracking and reporting mechanism to communicate results.
  • Stay abreast of policy and regulatory changes to maintain subject matter expertise. Remain cognizant of relevant quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Escalate all necessary issues to management in a timely fashion.
  • Provide feedback to product team and management team about player issues.
  • Other duties as necessary and/or assigned.

Required Skills

  • At least 6-12 months call center and/or customer service leadership experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience at an online casino and/or sportsbook.
  • Experience with computers, browsers, mobile devices.
  • Experience in customer service and compliance preferred
  • Self-Starter, Self-motivated and very reliable.
  • Great written communication skills.
  • Experience with gambling industry and industry terminology, standard promotions, and gameplay. #LI-HYBRID

This role spans a wide breadth of experience at Rush Street Interactive, welcoming candidates with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and locations. The salary range reflects potential variations in experience, skills, and location. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and/or bonuses. For candidates outside the US (Canada, Europe, Latin America), we take a locally informed approach to compensation and will share specific ranges based on your country of residence.

Location Eligibility: Open to candidates across the US (except California, Washington, Maryland, and New York).

Pay Range

$48,000 - $65,000 USD
