Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

The FP&A Analyst will work directly with the TruPlay Games CEO to build and review external
and internal market strategies as the company continues to scale. The right candidate for the
role must thrive in finding answers to mathematical problems faster than others with a high
degree of confidence. The candidate that will fit in well with TruPlay has consistently been "the
smartest person in the room" and takes on this moniker with humility. No ego, just results.

Responsibilities:  

• Maintain and adjust the company's financial model
• Tie marketing acquisition, consumer behavior, and other business results back into the
  model
• Anticipate changes in the market and business as they impact the model
• Analysis of Marketing Acquisition data and consumer acquisition and retention data
  along cohorts, media channels, and other variables
• Perform variance analysis of budgeted/forecasted against actual financial performance,
  clearly interpreting and documenting variances and cost drivers
• Suggest and recommend acquisition and retention vehicles and other business initiatives
  as appropriate

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling with spreadsheets (Excel, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with a high mathematical ability
• Proficiency in financial reporting and GL accounting
• Expert data analysis/management, financial modeling, and presentation skills with the
  ability to draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations
• Ability to balance multiple, diverse priorities (subject to frequent change) in a dynamic
  environment and produce deliverables of high-quality
• High commitment to our Mission

Experience:

• Ideally, 3-10 years of strategic financial planning experience
• Work experience in consumer tech, SAAS, and video games or the tech industry is
  preferred.
• Investment Banking or Private Equity experience is a plus
• Degree in Finance, Business or Economics

Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel to Austin (or any location that may be requested) as required by
Leadership
