Job Description

As an Enterprise Account Executive at AlphaSense, you'll spearhead growth within the Top 50 accounts in the US and Canada. You will collaborate with a Global Account Leader to expand AlphaSense's presence in these key accounts across various departments, including Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, and M&A. This role involves developing and executing a value-based sales strategy, building strong executive-level relationships, creating compelling business cases, and managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. You'll partner with the SDR team and work closely with Account Management to ensure customer success and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Success requires a strong track record in SaaS enterprise sales, excellent communication and storytelling skills, and a tenacious, results-oriented approach.

About the Team:

The Corporate Strategic Sales team focuses on the global growth & expansion of the Top 50 customers headquartered in each region of the world. Working collaboratively within a Pod of other sales professionals, the team is focused on delivering best-in-class sales execution & customer experience through building executive-level relationships and constructing business cases to support Enterprise deployments of AlphaSense. 

About the Role: 

We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, driven and accomplished new business sales professional to join our growing Corporate Strategic Sales team to help spearhead growth across the U.S. & Canada. The Global Strategic AE is tasked with accelerating growth at some of Alpha-Sense’s largest growth accounts globally through a value-based, Enterprise sales motion. Working in partnership with a Global Account Leader, this role will help to co-create the strategy for expansion locally, collaborate and marshall resources, establish key relationships at the top of the organization, while balancing the execution of a bottoms up strategy. You have a strong track record of success in a SaaS sales environment and can clearly communicate a drive to understand our customers and sales cycle.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Take responsibility for the strategy and end-to-end sales processes to expand AlphaSense’s most strategic accounts across Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, and M&A within the U.S. & Canada.
  • Become an expert on corporate customer needs and use cases, market dynamics, company capabilities, competitive landscape, and product differentiation.
  • Execute a value-based, Enterprise sales motion through best-in-class champion building, business case construction, and deal management.
  • Research opportunities, prospect, initiate discussions, build relationships, conduct demos, manage evaluations, and most importantly: close deals! 
  • Partner with our SDR team to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline. 
  • Forecast accurately and help the Pod develop the necessary pipeline to meet/exceed the team quota
  • Work closely with Account Management to ensure customer health throughout the contract term, as well as closing sourced upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Base Compensation Range*:  $115,000-$140,000

Additional Components: We offer a competitive benefits program, a generous commission plan with uncapped earning potential as well as equity.

*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
