Data Center Technician, Cloud Region

As a Data Center Technician at Google, you'll be part of the Hardware Operations team, responsible for monitoring and maintaining the physical infrastructure supporting Google's search technology. Your duties will include installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining server hardware and software (including Google's Linux cluster). You'll manage network components (routers, switches, etc.) and participate in or lead projects related to installations, developing contingency plans. Manual movement and rack installation will also be part of the role. You'll troubleshoot escalated technical issues, contribute to data center infrastructure deployment and support, test server hardware components, and resolve OS-related issues. International travel up to 20% may be required.
