Job Description

LUXOFT seeks an Embedded Software Developer to contribute to automotive software projects. Responsibilities include developing new features in C/C++, contributing to software architecture, clarifying requirements, utilizing design patterns, performing code analysis and optimization, developing robust code, and conducting unit testing and simulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive software development, strong C++ skills (including newer standards), and experience with Git and testing frameworks. The role involves working on projects that utilize machine intelligence and perception technologies in vehicles.

Must have:

3+ years C++ software development experience
Algorithm & math know-how
Strong C++ skills (11,14,17)
OOP & design understanding
Software debugging & optimization
Automotive experience
Git, Linux, SW testing frameworks

Good to have:

Responsibilities

You will develop new features in C/C++

You will contribute to the software architecture and clarify requirements in cooperation with the client and the team

You will utilize common design patterns as well as the advantages of object oriented programming

You will perform code analysis, optimize algorithms, refactor and optimize code

You will develop robust and effective code and ensure high quality of the code by performing unit test as well as simulation on real data (software in the loop)

Skills

Must have

5 years of experience in software development using C++

Algorithm and mathematic know-how

Strong C++ background, also in new standards (11, 14, 17), as well as a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design

Strong software debugging skills, understanding of performance optimization

Experience in automotive

Experience with Git or other version control system

Experience in Linux-based OS

Experience with SW testing frameworks (e.g. Google Test)

You are passionate about R&D and new technologies

Very good understanding of the software development process, preferably in the automotive area

You are hardworking and have team spirit

Strong communication skills in English

Master degree in engineering or computer science

Nice to have

AWS, Python, InfluxDB, ROS2, Grafana
