Job Description

As a Creative Designer at Sporty, you'll be responsible for the entire design process, from concept to execution, creating visually appealing graphics for the website and promotional materials. This includes game lobby banners, alert banners, main banners, and other marketing assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative designers, content teams, product designers, and product managers. You'll need to analyze design briefs, conceptualize visuals, create high-quality illustrations, logos, and GIFs, ensuring designs align with the brand guidelines and industry standards. You'll also benchmark competitor designs and test graphics across various media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of professional experience and a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Role

This Creative Designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, images, and GIFs. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of the game lobby banner, alert banner, main banner, promotional material, etc.

Your graphics should meet or exceed the industry standard and capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you must have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.

The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret design briefs to understand project requirements thoroughly.
Conceptualize innovative visuals and design solutions that align with project objectives and target audience.
Create rough drafts and effectively present ideas to stakeholders for feedback and iteration.
Design high-quality illustrations, logos, and other visual assets including GIFs that adhere to industry standards and align with brand guidelines.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative designers, content teams, product designers, and product managers, to ensure cohesive and impactful designs.
Benchmark and test graphics across various media platforms by analyzing competitor designs and trends to ensure the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
Exhibit flexibility and a positive attitude in incorporating feedback, revising designs, and continuously improving creative outputs.
Ensure all final graphics and layouts are visually compelling, on-brand, and resonate with the intended audience.

Requirements and skills

3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
A versatile portfolio showcasing a range of creative works, including illustrations, icons, typography, GIFs, and other graphic assets.
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (familiarity with After Effects and Figma is a plus)
A sharp eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and an innate ability to balance color schemes and composition.
Strong understanding of color theory, visual hierarchy, and design principles.
Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is an added advantage.
