Senior QA Engineer - App Game

Established in 2018, Sun Studio is a game developer on web platforms and mobile devices with more than 1 billion plays, a strategic partner of the world's leading web-games platforms such as: Facebook Instant Games, Game Distribution, Glance Gaming.

The team consists of almost 60 members who are passionate about creating games that are accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to support us test our recent launched games on mobile apps.

• Work directly with Team Members and Team Lead, ensuring product output quality
• Contribute to the product development process to ensure compliance with technical requirements set by partner platforms
• Create test plans, test cases, review test reports from testers, ensure quality for each new release before the deadline
• Find and describe errors, bugs and problems occurring during testing, track and process tickets, cooperate with the dev team to find solutions
• Work in the Casual or Hyper Casual game genres
• Perform 2D/3D game testing, review gameplay quality, UI, icons, assets, performance
• Test game apps on mobile devices (smartphones, tablets), ensure smooth game operation on all devices
• Test games simulating end-users and understand issues they may encounter during gameplay
• Build and manage documentation during the testing and product development process

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant (required)

• Certification related to the Testing field is an advantage

• Minimum 4 years of experience in manual testing of mobile games, understanding of the process of building, submitting products and meeting requirements from platforms Google Play Store and Apple App Store (required)
• Participated in the development of at least 1 product that gathered ≥ 1 million downloads on Google Play Store/Apple App Store (required)
• Knowledge of data analysis, metrics from Firebase, Google Analytics (required)
• Knowledge and experience in testing games developed on Unity engine (required)
• Ability to analyze requirements, ability to create and run test cases, test plans, review test reports (required)
• Understanding of the game software development cycle as well as key milestones in the project
• Experience using test management tools (Notion, Miro, Figma...)
• Technical knowledge related to mobile device software and hardware
• Good analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and commenting skills
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Teamwork skills
• Native Vietnamese

Work hour

- We expect you to work in our Ho Chi Minh city office to closely support the quality of the games. Working hours are from 9:00 - 18:30, from Monday to Friday.

- Even so, we do not micromanage or count your hours, but we expect you to take ownership of your work, proactively communicate and be reachable during work hours.
