Summary

Trendyol seeks a Corporate Development and M&A Professional to contribute to strategic planning, market research, investor reporting, and M&A activities. Responsibilities include developing short and long-term plans, monitoring industry trends, preparing reports for senior management and investors, managing the M&A pipeline, conducting due diligence, supporting deal negotiations, and overseeing post-merger integration. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in corporate finance, financial modeling, and valuation. This role requires managing complex projects and creating executive-level presentations.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Corporate Affairs Team at Trendyol drives impactful engagement through three key functions: Corporate Affairs, Corporate Development, and Corporate Communications. We build strong relationships with government stakeholders, advocate for commerce-friendly regulations, and amplify our influence within industry alliances. Our Corporate Communications efforts enhance brand perception through effective media management . Additionally, the Corporate Development team focuses on strategic partnerships and business restructuring.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strategic Planning & Coordination: Develop and model the company’s short- and long-term plans, aligning with key drivers and KPIs while coordinating with commercial teams.
    • Market Research & Reporting: Monitor industry trends and developments across the sectors and geographies in which we operate. Provide timely and accurate insights to the leadership team regarding opportunities and risks.
    • Executive and Investor Reporting: Prepare regular reports and insights for senior management and investors. Respond promptly to ad hoc queries and requests.
    • M&A Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust M&A pipeline by tracking target companies and sharing actionable insights with relevant teams.
    • M&A Processes: Act as a liaison in M&A processes by leading data exchanges and due diligence efforts. Ensure the smooth flow of information between internal and external stakeholders.
    • Deal Negotiations: Support negotiation processes to align deals with the company’s strategic objectives. Work with internal teams on long-term solutions related to legal, tax, and other due diligence areas.
    • Post-Merger Integration: Analyze potential synergies in mergers and acquisitions, develop execution plans, and monitor implementation progress.
    • Fundraising Support: Prepare investor materials for fundraising processes, track progress, and address incoming requests in a timely manner.

QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Minimum 1-4 years experience in related fields
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for identifying growth opportunities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
    • Hands-on experience in corporate finance, financial modeling, valuation, and market benchmarking.
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including M&A, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
    • Proficiency in creating executive-level presentations and reports.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a results-oriented mindset.

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.

We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and  August.

The hybrid working model only applies to hybrid roles; on-site roles require regular office presence.
