Description

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary executive to take on the role of VP, Partnerships.  Reporting directly to the EVP, Americas and serving as a key member of the leadership team.  You will be tasked with driving growth in our third-party relationships across both the Americas and global markets by building and executing on a strategic vision that enhances our ecosystem and drives financial results. This role is essential for fostering growth through a diverse range of partnerships, developing and implementing innovative strategies, and ensuring alignment with Sinch’s short-term and long-term plans. 

As the VP of Partnerships, you will be responsible for leading the indirect sales team, focusing on driving gross profit through strategic partnerships. You will also oversee platform ecosystem partners, SIs, Channel Partners and will include organizations that integrate and develop software solutions with Sinch. Your leadership will ensure that our global partner strategy and framework are both scalable and efficient, with the ability to measure and optimize performance across global, regional, and segment levels to achieve the desired financial outcomes. 

Responsibilities 

Indirect Sales Leadership: Lead the indirect sales team to drive gross profit through strategic partnerships.  Manage relationships with partner managers who refer customers to Sinch, resell Sinch products, or offer services. 

Platform Ecosystem Growth: Drive growth across platform ecosystem partners, including organizations that develop software and integrate Sinch solutions. Ensure these partnerships enhance our ecosystem's value proposition and contribute to overall growth. 

Global Partner Strategy: Develop and execute a global partner strategy and framework with scalability and efficiency in mind. Measure and analyze performance at global, regional, and segment levels to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. 

Regional Priorities and Execution: Collaborate with regional leadership to set priorities and execution plans for partnerships. Ensure that regional efforts align with the global strategy and framework, focusing on scalable and efficient execution. 

Growth Engines Development: Build and manage Sinch’s growth engines by balancing investments and focus across prioritized partnerships, segments, and tiers. Adapt strategies for strategic, value-add, and transactional sales plays to maximize impact. 

Scaling and Performance: Enhance go-to-market (GTM) strategies, accountability, and business acumen within the partner function and supporting teams. Own the success and performance of the partner business, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals. 

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading and scaling ecosystem strategies with significant success in driving growth and managing partnerships in the communications technology sector. 
  • Extensive experience in managing indirect sales teams and driving financial results through strategic partnerships and channel management. 
  • Strong understanding of platform ecosystem dynamics, including software integration and solution development. 
  • Ability to develop and implement global partner strategies and frameworks, with a focus on scalability and efficiency. 
  • Experience in setting regional priorities and executing partnership strategies that align with global objectives. 
  • Proficiency in balancing investments and focus across various partnership types, including strategic, value-add, and transactional sales plays. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to measure and optimize performance across global, regional, and segment levels. 
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to inspire and drive performance in both direct and indirect teams. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels and with external partners.

The annual salary range for this position is $231,400 - $289,250. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be $69,420 - $86,775 annually and are based on performance.
