Trader Specialist - Lottery

We are looking to add a Trader Specialist - Lotto to our team in Bucharest.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor and respond to changing markets.

• Monitor risk and liabilities in accordance with company trading policy.

• Develop and write new IT feature requests.

• Perform administrative tasks such as follow-up of settling markets, monitoring customer betting patterns, etc.

• Ensure trading tools are of the highest standard.

• Monitor competitor markets and products.

• Ensure that the company’s product offering is timely, accurate, and of excellent standard.

• Evaluate company risks for each competition.

• Report to Head of Trading and top management on trading.

• Check the lottery draws to ensure accuracy and compliance with schedule.

• Ensure that draw timings are correct and updated.

• Manually review and approve big bets and winnings.

• Create and update new lottery draws as required.

Requirements:

• Availability to work in shifts (09:00-17:00; 17:00-01:00) and weekends (2 weekends per month).

• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in investment analysis, accounting, or finance.

• Previous experience working with an established online sportsbook in a similar role would be a strong plus.

• Strong management skills.

• Methodical, analytical, demonstrating strong data interpretation and database skills.

• Experience in the betting industry would be a plus or a passion for all sports.

• Ability to act fast in response to ever-changing situations.

• Flexible and adaptable.

• Knowledge of the betting industry.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Quality focused.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Early adopter of the internet and technology.
