Job Description

This role involves providing Level 2 support for Murex front office modules. Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, test execution, preparing functional specifications, working with developers, creating and executing test cases (deal booking, event performance in SIT, UAT), and working on e-trade pad development, simulation viewer, strategy builder, and Livebook. The candidate will collaborate with project managers, developers, business users, and external vendors. Strong debugging skills and SQL proficiency are essential. The role requires handling front-office booking issues, resolving PNL mismatches, and ensuring a deep understanding of the Murex trade lifecycle and GOM module. The position is based in Hyderabad, India.

Must have:

4-9 years Murex front office support experience
Murex application knowledge (Simulation, pre-trade debugging)
e-trade pad, GOM, PNL, PLVA expertise
SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux proficiency
Strong debugging skills (pre-trade rules)
MSL, access rights, portfolio tree knowledge
Independent Murex functional module support

Good to have:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Murex-related Responsibility:

Analyze user requirements and assist in test execution

Work will also include preparing the functional specifications, working closely with the developer team on assistance, and preparing the test cases and executing it (eg: deal booking, performing events as per user requirements in SIT, UAT).

Expected to work on e-trade pad development, simulation viewer, strategy builder, Livebook

The candidate is expected to work closely and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, developers, and business users, as well as external vendors.

Skills

Must have

4 to 9 years (Looking for L2 support) Supporting Murex front office module and Knowledge in Murex application, Simulation, pre-trade debugging, simulation, e-trade pad, GOM, PNL, PLVA, SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux

Strong knowledge of Murex front office Module

Good understanding of GOM module, trade lifecycle

Able to handle front-office booking issues

Strong debugging knowledge of pre-trade rules and debugging

Able to write SQL code

Strong knowledge of MSL, access rights, portfolio tree, e-trade pad, and Simulation

Have to work on simulation / PNL mismatch issues

Able to support Murex functional module independently.

Nice to have

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied by excellent communication
