The Role:
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPgM) to join our team. You will be responsible for managing complex, high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery while coordinating across teams and departments. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to drive programs that align with both technical and business goals. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of key programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical goals.
What You'll Do:
- Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end technical programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical execution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and resolution of dependencies.
- Execution & Delivery: Manage timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful program delivery.
- Roadmap Alignment: Align technical roadmaps with business goals for timely product delivery.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve project-level issues, manage scope changes, and mitigate risks for smooth delivery.
- Program Metrics & Reporting: Define and track KPIs, reporting progress and escalating issues to leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimize processes, refine tools, and implement best practices for efficient program delivery.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead teams and mentor junior program managers for growth and collaboration.
About You:
Must Have
- Technical Depth: Background in engineering with an understanding of Cloud, SaaS, and Enterprise solutions. Ideally, 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experienced Program Manager: 3+ years of experience in Program and/or Project management in a fast-paced, technical environment, including experience with large-scale, cross-functional programs.
- Agile Expertise: Experience in leading Agile project management, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and quarterly reviews.
- Communication Mastery: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Able to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Demonstrated experience in identifying, tracking, and resolving risks and dependencies within programs. Able to handle conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive program improvements. Comfortable making trade-offs based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, balancing both short-term and long-term program needs. Effective at developing roadmaps, managing timelines, and keeping teams focused on business-critical deliverables.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Distributed Microservices and Cloud Services (AWS): Hands-on knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions, especially with AWS.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure & Platform Management: Understanding of infrastructure requirements and dependencies for scalable and reliable product offerings. Experience with platform management and cloud-based services.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Sheets, or similar tools for roadmap planning, tracking, and analysis.
- Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications.
