We’re seeking a Talent & Resource Manager with a passion for XR, Real-time Animation, Experiential and Gaming to own scheduling and freelance talent acquisition for our Experience Design projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work with A-Class global talent on innovative, creative and high profile projects and product development. You’ll be a crucial part of the team, delivering work with clients and IP across music, sports, entertainment and brands. You’ll also be working closely with a resourcing team also working across film and branded content.

The role is based in our studio in Shoreditch, London, and is a hybrid role with 3 office days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management:

  • Sourcing and recruiting freelance talent across Tech Art, Production, Spatial Computing, Real-time and Creative.

  • Managing the onboarding/offboarding process, welcoming people to Nexus.

  • Building relationships with artists, developers and producers to maintain Nexus’ status in the industry and attracting top talent that matches our current and future needs.

  • Being an active part of school/university outreach.

Scheduling & Resource Management:

  • Keeping track of production timelines and monitoring full-time and freelance crew pencils/bookings accordingly.

  • Being the bridge between production, studio and creative, using strong communication skills to ensure that all departments are talking to each other.

  • Working with all departments to help build schedules, and ensure that these are kept on track from a resourcing perspective.

  • Collecting project feedback for project debriefs and using learnings for positive change.

Resource Management System:

  • Owning the resource management system alongside the resourcing team, you’ll be the font of all knowledge when it comes to people’s time and utilisation.

  • Holding regular meetings with your manager and senior management to analyse how staff are being utilised.

Software Knowledge:

  • Interest in and experience of emerging technology pipelines.

  • Float, Slack, Trello, Google Drive, Airtable.

  • Interest in emerging technologies (AI, Real-time Animation, XR), gaming and animation is beneficial.
