Description
- Manage the community strategy to drive engagement and growth
- Lead cross-functional efforts with sales, marketing, R&D, IT, and support teams to enhance participation and value
- Retain current community members and attract new ones through various initiatives
- Moderate user-generated content and ensure high-quality engagement with the technical audience
- Develop and report on KPIs to track community success and impact
- Collaborate with internal SMEs to enrich community content with Gigamon knowledge
- Gather and implement user feedback to direct the community platform’s roadmap
- Provide insights from community interactions to inform product and marketing strategies
- Occasionally travel to collaborate with internal teams or attend community events
- 10+ years of enterprise hardware/software experience with 1-3 years in community management or moderation
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Salesforce, Jive, Lithium, Telligent, or Drupal
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus
- Proven track record in managing large, cross-functional programs and growing community metrics
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry is preferred
- Passionate about technology and connecting with people around tech topics
- Strong communicator with excellent writing skills and project management capabilities
- Creative, diplomatic, and able to handle pressure while maintaining strong interpersonal skills
- A self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a knack for driving cross-team initiatives
- Familiarity with social media and online collaboration tools; lean startup methodology is a plus
- Comfortable working with teams located across the globe, with most requests originating from the US-based team
