We are looking for a Manager, User Experience to join our UX team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the director of User Experience Design. In this hybrid role, you will lead and manage a team of designers and collaborate on all aspects of the user-centric design lifecycle across cross-functional teams of Product managers and Engineering, to ensure on-time and successful delivery of these products and solutions. You will inspire Product teams to think and design differently by communicating a clear design vision and strategy that aligns with the overall product roadmap and business objectives. Your innovative and pragmatic design solutions will also drive customer delight and satisfaction across the Infoblox product suite.

 What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Partner with design leadership to develop and communicate a clear design vision and strategy that aligns with the overall product roadmap and business objectives
  • Oversee the design process from concept to final implementation, ensuring timely delivery of design projects and adherence to established standards
  • Collaborate with Product managers, engineers, and cybersecurity experts to integrate user-centric design principles with role-based needs and requirements of networking and security end users
  • Ensure E2E design and development of a comprehensive documentation, including guidelines for design patterns, components, typography, and visual styles
  • Support qualitative and quantitative research planning, design, recruitment, execution, analysis, and sharing of insights and recommendations
  • Advocate for customers and consistently drive for quality of our products to achieve the best experience
  • Work with Engineering to effectively plan and support the implementation of the design vision
  • Stay on top of industry trends to drive continuous improvements to user experience 

What you’ll bring:

  • 15+ years of UX/UI design-related experience, with a proven track record of at least 4 years managing a team of designers
  • Portfolio highlighting design operations experience and design team leadership
  • Portfolio highlighting work for enterprise web products and concrete understanding of design fundamentals and best practices;
  • Demonstrated experience in networking and security enterprise product design is a must have
  • High proficiency in Figma, and use of advanced techniques for design systems
  • Proven ability to articulate user needs into a compelling narrative and deliver vision through designs and workflows
  • Ability to influence and lead internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver designs
  • Excellent communications capability for written, verbal, and presentation/collateral medium
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a UX design-related field, interaction design, user experience design, human factors, industrial design, or business design 

What success looks like:

After six months, you will…

  • Be fully engaged with our UX, Product Management, and Engineering teams
  • Drive user-centric design lifecycle, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Have the critical SaaS product knowledge required to drive thought leadership

After about a year, you will… 

  • Play a strategic role in driving the UX for our SaaS product roadmap releases
  • Understand the SaaS product users, tasks, and environment 
  • Drive user experience recommendations to enrich our SaaS cloud services portfolio
