Senior Marketing Project Manager – Conferences

We’re looking to hire a Sr. Marketing Project Manager for a global pharmaceutical company that develops medicines and solutions to treat complex health issues.

You’ll join the International Oncology Marketing Organization to plan meetings, coordinate agendas, prepare minutes, and communicate with Team Members. This is a 12 month opportunity. The role is located in Mettawa, Illinois, and is hybrid on-site.  

Responsibilities: 

• Project management support for the client's Nano-Bio Symposium, a yearly event to showcase and celebrate the latest discoveries from multidisciplinary Researcher Teams.
• Monitor event performance with Stakeholders, provide reports on  milestones/KPIs, manage annual calendar and communications for the Symposium, coordinate Brand Planning, Brand Meetings, etc.
• Assist with tracking and managing the financial budget, meet project deadlines and deliver on business objectives.

Requirements: 

• Proven track record of project leadership in the marketing, advertising or pharmaceutical industry.
• 5 years of Project/Program management experience.
• BS/BA in Business, Sciences or a Commercial related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
