The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will support the Security Engineering toolset, developing, improving, and assessing security architecture in a hosting-based environment. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable security solutions using cloud-agnostic and cloud-native tools; leading collaborative design and implementation to meet remediation requirements; designing and implementing automated security processes; managing security monitoring tools (including MDR); providing specification documentation for cybersecurity vulnerabilities; participating in risk assessments; applying cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements; conducting vulnerability assessments; and assisting in sales pursuits. The role requires proficiency in security monitoring and incident response within public cloud environments and experience with cybersecurity standards.

Job Details
Job Summary: As our Security Engineer III you’ll be responsible for supporting our Security Engineering toolset. You’ll develop, improve, modify, and assess security architecture in a hosting- based environment.
Work Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable security solutions that meet customer requirements leveraging both cloud-agnostic and cloud native security tools.
- Lead collaborative design and implementation of solutions to meet remediation requirements for audits, security reviews, security incidents, and other activities.
- Design and implement automated security processes and controls to increase operational effectiveness and reduce manual processes.
- Implement and help manage and respond to security monitoring tools including Managed Detection and Response solution.
- Provide specification documentation deliverables to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities and the security controls necessary to mitigate the vulnerabilities to an acceptable level of risk through application of risk management framework concepts.
- Participate in pre-project cybersecurity risk assessment.
- Apply an organization's goals and objectives to develop and maintain architecture.
- Update, and/or maintain standard operating procedures.
- Apply cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements.
- Conduct routine vulnerability, configuration, and compliance assessments, and work with customers to prioritize and manage the resulting findings.
- Assist in sales pursuits as a subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
- 7 or more years of related experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity and/or Information Technology to include accountability for complex tasks and/or projects.
- 3+ years’ experience in at least one or more cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Engineering experience with technologies such as firewalls, vulnerability tools, IDP/IPS, HIDs, FIM, EDR, WAFs, IAM and various other types of security controls including cloud native security tools.
- Proficiency in security monitoring and incident response within public cloud environments.
- Experience with Cybersecurity Standards.
The following information is required by pay transparency legislation in the following states: CA, CO, HI, NY, and WA. This information applies only to individuals working in these states.
· The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $89,300 - $130,900.
· The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $95,000 - $139,260.
· The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: $104,000 - $152,570.
Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. #LI-MF1
