This role involves close collaboration with business partners to gather requirements, design and develop data actions and schedules for planning models across various financial areas (Revenue, Opex, Capex, HR/Headcount), perform data validation, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The analyst will also partner with business teams to deliver analytics and insights, driving key business decisions. Strong financial modeling skills, knowledge of SAC Advanced Formulas, and Javascript are essential. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.

Job Title: Senior BI Analyst (SAC Planning)
Reports To: FP&A Manager
Business Unit: Corporate Finance (FP&A)
Location: India (Mumbai)
Scope of this role
We seek a detail-oriented, highly analytical BI Senior Analyst to join our finance team. The senior analyst will assist in driving the building of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning Models and Dashboards- closely coordinating with business partners of the functions- to source requirements and timelines. This role is critical to the development and enhancement of the SAC Planning Applications to enable the functionality and set of features that the business needs to effectively plan its financials. The ideal candidate should have strong financial modeling skills, knowledge of SAC Advanced Formulas, Javascript, and a solution mindset.
Responsibilities
- Strong experience and deep technical understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning models, specifically) in addition to technical and application knowledge expertise of SAC.
- Design and develop data actions, multi actions, and calendar schedules for Planning models across Revenue, Opex, Capex, and HR/Headcount
- Strong understanding of data load procedures for planning inputs, company drivers, and importing transaction data from SAP S/4 system and SAP HANA databases
- Communicate effectively with FP&A team members to understand their needs, educate them on how SAC works, show them what is possible, and be transparent in your timelines to complete tasks
- Performing data validation and data quality checks
- Drive mission-critical financial reporting and analytics (planning, forecasting, budgeting, monthly & quarterly variance analysis, etc.) for a large company
- Ensure standard reports are produced & available as per stipulated timelines across all the verticals/business units. Ensure accuracy and completeness at all times
- Partner with business teams on delivering analytics through dashboards, data, and insights to drive key business decisions and support negotiations
