Role:
Looking for a Senior research engineer to join our localization and mapping team
Must have:
- Strong background in state-of-the-art SLAM algorithms, Visual Odometry, Localization or State Estimation/filtering techniques (Kalman Filter, Particle Filter etc.)
- 5+ years experience writing production quality code in C++ and deploying SLAM algorithms to real robots
- Understanding of different sensor modalities (Cameras, LIDARs, RADARs, IMUs, GPS, ultrasonic sensors etc.)
- Strong fundamentals in C++ and Python programming
Additional skills:
- MS or PhD in Computer Vision, 3D Geometry, SLAM, Localization, Mapping or a relevant field
- Background in Robotics
- Experience with ROS and Linux
